about.

April is a New York-based visionary photographer with a focus on commercial and narrative-driven work. Having worn every hat in production, April’s superpower lies in distilling an on set experience into a flawless, streamlined execution, creating cohesive campaigns and image libraries across portraiture, lifestyle, entertainment, and beauty.

After receiving a BFA in Photography & Related Media from FIT, April spent the following years supporting photographers under the B&A umbrella at Great Bowery. Making connections, she studied directly under Marco Grob and other notable photographers, all while building her book. This led to a greater understanding of complex creative briefs, translating artistic vision into polished productions, and honing her ability to bring concepts to life.

When she’s not creating content behind the lens, she’s consuming it in all forms: if you’ve heard of it, she’s probably watched or read it. Off set, you can find her creating travel itineraries, doodling in her sketch book, knitting a headscarf (her latest creation), or throwing pottery at the studio.

April works across the US and internationally, collaborating with brands such as NBC’s The Today Show, TIME, World of Hyatt, and La Roche Posay, that span advertising, digital, and social campaigns. She was awarded the Team Galaxy Creator Grant from Samsung, has been featured in Vogue India and the Independent Photographer, and is an American Photography 39 Selected Winner. In 2022, she completed an Artist Residency at Chulitna Lodge in Lake Clark, Alaska.
